Semaglutide

Weight loss can be hard!

Eating right and exercising sometimes is not enough, especially as we age, and our metabolism slows down. A new modern, medical solution for weight loss is here, Semaglutide!

Semaglutide is an FDA-approved prescription peptide for weight management. It is a weekly injectable that helps regulate blood sugar levels, regulates appetite, slows down the emptying of the stomach, and controls your body’s glucose production. This allows Semaglutide to help you safely lose weight and keep it off.

What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1) analog. GLP- is a peptide hormone produced in the small intestine that stimulate insulin secretion and to inhibit glucagon secretion, thereby regulating your blood sugar. Semaglutide is a FDA-approved weekly injectable that will regulate your appetite, slow down emptying of the stomach, and control your body’s glucose production. The New England Journal of Medicine and Journal of American Medical Association, two of the most reputable journals in medicine, conducted a 68-week study on overweight or obese participants that resulted in a 15% – 20% loss of total body weight just by receiving weekly Semaglutide injections. In this same study, nearly 70% of participants were able to achieve a 10% weight loss threshold and 32% of participants lost at least 20% of their initial weight.

Benefits may include: While patients will notice some significant body weight loss in the first month, the full benefits are usually fully noticed after three to six months of treatment. The medication dose must be increased gradually over 16 to 20 weeks. To better tolerate the medication, it will be increased over a 16-week period. *results may vary based on the treatment plan.

Tirzepatide

Weight loss Doesn't need to be difficult!

Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight can become challenging, particularly as we age and experience a slowdown in metabolism, even with proper diet and exercise. Introducing Tirzepatide, a cutting-edge medical solution for weight loss!

Tirzepatide, an FDA-approved prescription peptide designed for weight management, offers a weekly injectable solution. It effectively manages blood sugar levels, curbs appetite, slows stomach emptying, and regulates glucose production in the body. Through these mechanisms, Tirzepatide aids in safe and sustainable weight loss.

What is Tirzepatide?

As a GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid modified peptide based on the GIP sequence. Tirzepatide selectively binds to and activates the GIP and GLP-1 receptors, the targets for native GIP and GLP-1. At therapeutic doses, it acts on the brain and suppresses appetite. Used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, Tirzepatide helps patients adhere to a reduced-calorie diet, enhancing the weight loss process.

Control

Maintain your weight control!

There is a real weight-loss challenge that happens to many of us—and it’s not due to lack of commitment or willpower. Scientific research demonstrates that this challenge occurs due to our brain working against you by sending hunger signals or triggering cravings, even when you’re not hungry. Control is a daily oral medication that reduces hunger, controls cravings, and boosts your body’s metabolism.

What is Control?

Control combines 2 medications bupropion HCl and naltrexone HCl with L-Carnitine which together reduce hunger, control cravings, and boost your body’s metabolism to help you lose the weight you have always wanted to and keep it off. With well-established safety profiles, these medications have been prescribed by providers for other conditions for more than 30 years.  This medication is for chronic weight management in patients who are obese or are overweight. According to a 56-week study, patients achieved greater than or equal to a 5% reduction in body weight. Most individuals may see results within the first 6 months of treatment. We recommend using this medication together with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for 1 year to achieve your weight loss goals.

Tesofensine

The weight loss game changer!

Tesofensine is the newest game-changing peptide for weight loss! As a serotonin-noradrenaline-dopamine reuptake inhibitor, tesofensine works at the level of the brain by suppressing appetite and increasing resting energy expenditure (your basal metabolic rate).

What is Tesofensine Peptide Therapy?

As a serotonin-noradrenaline-dopamine re-uptake inhibitor, tesofensine works at the level of the brain by suppressing appetite and increasing resting energy expenditure (your basal metabolic rate). In a previous study examining tesofensine’s efficacy on treating obesity, researchers found that participants achieved all endpoint goals, including an overall 5-10% reduction in baseline body weight and a reduction in BMI. Waist and hip circumference, body fat, and visceral body fat were also reduced in comparison to those receiving the placebo.

tesofensine peptide therapy

Tesofensine is an oral pill that you take daily. Medication should be taken in the morning.

Patients being treated with Tesofensine also displayed the following positive results: Reduction in appetite sensations within a period of 14 days, with those being treated reporting a greater level of satiety and less desire to eat. Significant increase in fat oxidation and reduction in fat tissue.

Both medications can be use simultaneously with one another to even further enhance results. Tesofensine 0.5 mg/day and 1 mg/day taken orally produced a weight loss of 9.2% and 10.6% respectively in 24 weeks

The antiobesity activity of tesofensine results from its dual mode of action: it reduces energy intake by increasing satiety, and it increases energy expenditure by stimulating thermogenesis.

Common side effects include dry mouth, headache, nausea, insomnia, diarrhea, and constipation. Rarely, serotonin syndrome can occur when you take antidepressants that can cause levels of serotonin to increase in your body. This most often occurs when two medications that raise serotonin are combined, such as other antidepressants, certain pain or headache medications, or St. John’s wort.

Blood pressure and heart rate were increased by 1–3 mmHg and up to 8 bpm, respectively.
